What Is the Palm Classic
The Palm Classic is our annual fundraiser. On the surface it looks like a festival — pickleball, volleyball, dodgeball, arcade battles, a dunk tank, Southern barbecue, a raffle stacked with Charleston's best experiences.
Underneath, it is something else entirely.
Every ticket, every raffle entry, every sponsorship goes directly toward our mission: more mornings where someone wakes up safe, supported and sober, and more people getting the chance to become who they were always supposed to be.
2026: The Inaugural Classic
On July 25, 2026, 250 people filled Crush Yard in Mt. Pleasant for the first ever Palm Classic.
The courts stayed full all afternoon. Kids lined up to send our co-founders into the dunk tank again and again. Sixteen raffle winners were called up one after another, ending with a brand new Trek cruiser rolling out the front gate. And every screen in the building carried the names of the sponsors, families, and friends — some with us, some remembered — who made it real. The day was even featured on ABC News 4's Lowcountry Live.
But the number that matters most is the one we can't count yet. Somewhere out there is someone having the worst day of their life. They have never heard of The Palm. One day they will walk through our doors, and there will be a bed for them. It was made possible by the people who showed up on a Saturday in July.
Who It's For
The Palm Classic is for everyone who came before — the alumni who did the work and built new lives. For everyone going through it right now. For the families, the moms and dads, husbands and wives, and kids who love someone through this disease. For the local recovery community who shows up in force, every time. And for the people we have not met yet.
Nobody recovers alone. Community is the medicine. This is the day we prove it.
