Palmetto Recovery of Charleston
Sobriety Happens Here
It’s Time To Try Something Different
Palmetto Recovery of Charleston provides a unique recovery experience that emphasizes individualized care and a strong community structure. We intentionally keep our resident community small, creating an environment that feels more like a supportive family than a traditional facility. Our excellent staff-to-resident ratio allows us to focus deeply on each person's specific needs, preferences, and recovery goals.
How We Can Help
Our approach begins with a structured recovery phase that provides the foundation for healing. Following this, the transition program helps residents smoothly reintegrate into daily life, equipped with the skills they need to maintain their progress. Our mentorship component pairs residents with experienced mentors for personalized guidance and support. We also incorporate physical and recreational activities to promote overall well-being.
We’re in this together
Navigating the complexities of a loved one's addiction or alcoholism can feel overwhelming and emotionally taxing. Our family engagement ensures loved ones are included in the recovery process, fostering a supportive network that enhances long-term success.
Our Programs
Mentorship Program
Our Mentorship Program places residents with exceptional members of the Charleston recovery community, all of whom have personal experience with long-term sobriety. These mentors provide invaluable guidance, support, and inspiration to our residents, helping them navigate the challenges of early recovery and building a strong foundation for lasting sobriety.
Recreation Program
By engaging in fun and meaningful activities, individuals learn to enjoy life without the need for substances, building a cornerstone for a joyful and sober future. Our recreational activities are designed to create positive, lasting memories that residents can carry with them throughout their recovery journey. These include beach days, bowling, tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, golf, movies, kayaking, and visits to local parks and attractions.
Transition Program
Our Transition Program is designed to ensure a smooth and successful shift from our community to everyday life. This program focuses on preparing residents for independence while maintaining support and structure. Vital aspects include attending local recovery meetings, sober living consultations, employment assistance, off-campus visits, and support network planning.
